Jon Dinapoli
FOUNDER & CHIEF CREATIVE
Jon Dinapoli, founder + chief creative, is a designer and leader with 20+ years of experience in the luxury beauty and fashion industry. His vast experience ranges over many different types of designer, lifestyle and celebrity brands focusing on multiple mediums and creative solutions. With formal training in graphic design and photography, he embodies the right mix of creativity, design and a strong business sense.
Prior to forming JMD, Jon was the creative director and vice president of Coty. There he designed and launched many fragrance and cosmetic brands for some of the most well known names in the world. The larger brands he oversaw were Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, Balenciaga, Vera Wang, Jennifer Lopez, Gwen Stefani, Madonna and SJP. -
Karina Sonowski
VICE PRESIDENT, CREATIVE
Karina has over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry. She is a creative leader with a combination of intuition and business sense allowing her to tap into the essence of a company and distilling it into a working brand. Over the years she was head of creative at Givaudan leading the creative department in designing fragrance concepts for brands within Avon, Bath & Body Works, Estée Lauder brands and Victoria’s Secret. She went on to Coty Prestige where she launched fragrance brands for Vera Wang. Most recently, Karina was executive creative director at Preferred Fragrance leading a team in strategizing and creating turnkey design solutions for private label brands at retailers including, TJ Maxx, Target, and Walmart.
As VP creative at Jon Michael Design, Karina is fully immersed in all of the brand development and conceptual work. Together, with Jon, Karina spearheads the projects and helps to lead the vision and strategy of the agency and brands we represent. -
Wayne Warner
CONTRIBUTING CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Wayne is inspired by all things creative and as JMD’s contributing creative director he works on many of the larger conceptual and packaging projects alongside Jon + Karina. He started his career as a fashion stylist and worked on numerous editorial and cover shoots before moving into product styling and photo shoot art direction. Here he is responsible for helping to bring the photographic concepts to life through styling, propping, lighting and overall creative direction. Wayne brings a fresh point of view and very unique set of talents to the JMD team.

Christine Doyle
CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Over the past 12+ years Christine has focused her career on design in the beauty industry having worked for brands such as L’oreal, Bath & Body Works, Clinique, and Fusion brands. During that time she has had the opportunity to see brands from many angles. Bring that into her current role as creative director at JMD where she works on designs for all new client projects, bringing them from conception to realization while managing and mentoring a team of 5+ designers for the current client roster. Beauty and the design industry are where her true passion lives.
